Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, Tottenham Hotspur playmaker James Maddison and France star Aurelien Tchouameni praised Jude Bellingham on Instagram after England’s 3-1 win over Scotland.
Arsenal’s number one was handed a rare start by Gareth Southgate at Hampden on Tuesday night, with James Maddison, following the draw against Ukraine last time out, being dropped to the bench.
It might be a friendly on paper, but the game was played like it was a competitive match, with Jude Bellingham, once again, running the show from the middle of the park.
The Real Madrid star scored and assisted against Scotland, as well as making intelligent runs off the ball and outstanding turns and runs with the ball throughout the match.
Bellingham just can’t stop scoring. Madrid have eight La Liga goals this season, with their star summer signing scoring five of them and he has now brought that form onto the international stage.
Nonetheless, when the 20-year-old posted on Instagram after England’s win over Scotland, he was lauded in the comments section by Aaron Ramsdale, Maddison and his Madrid teammate Aurelien Tchouameni

Maddison wrote in the comments section of his IG post: “Very good deputy,” whilst Ramsdale added ‘Superstar’ and Aurelien Tchouameni told him that he is ‘different’.
Bellingham one of the world’s best
Just recently out of his teenage years, Bellingham is already proving to be one of the world’s best and it won’t be long before he is sitting on top of the tree.
The all-action midfielder is playing for the biggest club side in the world and that platform, if he continues to perform, will land him the biggest prizes.
Michael Owen was the last English player to win the Ballon d’Or and no English player has come closer than Bellingham now to land that converted individual prize.
