North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has arrived in Russia onboard his heavily armoured train.
Kim Jong Un disembarked in Khasan shortly after crossing the Russian border where he met with local leaders.
He is expected to continue to nearby Vladivostok where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
US officials believe talks of North Korea providing Russia with weapons for the war in Ukraine will dominate the meeting.
The Kremlin has confirmed the North Korean leader is in fact visiting Russia.
