A grown-up actress who filmed a pornographic video at a Travelodge says she did nothing wrong even as the hotel giant is considering legal action. On December 12 last year, Lacey Amour, 23, from South Wales, and 27 others went to the Travelodge in Newcastle’s Cobalt Business Park to film content. Bosses were furious to discover the group was using their hotel to film sex acts. The hotel giant said it would not hesitate to take legal action if an investigation found its terms and conditions had been violated.
However, Ms Amour said her industry faced “injustice” and “discrimination” that no other industry faced. The porn star had initially booked a £10,000 villa nearby, which had a swimming pool and hot tub, but was asked to leave by the owner.
After getting stuck in the snow, the group booked four double rooms at a cost of £43 a night, plus a family room for business. In December, Ms Amour traveled to the Travelodge with 27 other people to film the content
Ms Amour told BBC News that the adult content creation industry was one of the “oldest” and those working in it “face injustice and discrimination that no other industry has”. X-Rated models reportedly posed in hallways and elevators while families spent the weekend away.
However, Ms Amour said no filming took place in public and all recordings were made in private. One photo showed seven women lying on a single bed. Ms Amour told The Sun: “We just want to get our jobs done.”
A Travelodge spokesman said: “We have been made aware of an allegation that filming may have taken place at one of our properties without our authorization and in breach of the terms of our booking conditions. “We were not aware that this booking was made online, similar to Millions of bookings made through our website.
“We are currently investigating this incident and will not hesitate to cancel any future bookings and take legal action if we believe that someone has breached our terms and conditions.” Adult actress Lacey Armour, 23 (Lacey Amour), said: “We’re just trying to do our jobs”
