The star of Ex on the Beach is being accused of capturing himself engaging in sexual activity with a lady in his front lawn in the year 2020 and then posting the tape on OnlyFans without first obtaining the woman’s permission.
The prosecutor, Jacqueline Carey, told the jury that Bear and the woman who is alleged to have been his victim had dated for a short period of time before they met in August of 2020. Carey said that during that meeting, the woman came to Bear’s house for a cup of tea, where the two of them drank wine and did tequila shots before having sex in the garden and then going inside. He entered the courtroom while holding hands with his partner, Jessica Smith.
Bear did not reveal to the claimed victim until much later that he had installed a surveillance camera in the yard and that it was possible that the camera had caught them in the act.
Ms. Carey said that “she instructed him to never show it to anybody or transmit it to anyone”
Ms. Carey stated that the prosecution’s case was that Bear had intentionally shared and uploaded the video for him or another party to “obtain sexual gratification” from it, as well as profit from the video being shared on sites such as OnlyFans and PornHub. The jury was told that Bear has denied any role in the dissemination of the video, stating that he did not distribute it in WhatsApp and did not upload it to any websites. This information was presented to the jury.
After some time had passed, Ms. Carey shared what happened next: “She conveyed to him how horrible it would be for her.”
The claimed victim first learned that other people were able to see the tape from the garden in October, after which she was shown pictures of an advertisement for the footage that was posted on Bear’s OnlyFans.
The prosecution said that the advertisement ran as follows: “Good morning everyone, can’t wait for you to see me f***ing in the yard here is a sneak preview.”
The bear flashed the peace sign for the photographers.
Ms. Carey said that in a video posted on social media, Bear first disputed that it was the claimed victim in the video, but then he accused her of being an attention seeker. Ms. Carey stated that Bear initially denied that it was the alleged victim in the video.
Bear said that the last time he saw the lady was in Thailand, and that the woman in the video “obviously wasn’t her.” Instagram videos were shown for the court in which Bear made this assertion. He informed those who followed him that “Everyone is human” and that “I have played a clown, but I’m simply saying it for positive energy to make those around me happy.”
The jury was presented with screencaps depicting interactions between Mr. Bear and the victim, as well as audio recordings made by Mr. Bear when the victim confronted him after the video was published.
Bear said in the voice notes that the lady had an idea in her brain that was “wrapped up so much it makes you seem like a c***.” These notes were then played for the jury. You don’t put any thought into the things that you do.
In addition, it was possible to overhear him adding, “when the dust settles, you appear like such an idiot for making up full-blown falsehoods.” In a subsequent message, he was heard stating “f***ing hell you have lost the plot” and “keep off the drugs.” Both of these phrases were repeated.
The victim disputed that she was the one who sent it and, according to Ms. Carey, told him, “We will debate it in court, you know what you have done.” It will be the end of my life.
The alleged victim was also seen saying to him in the image, “You’re going to to jail for this, Bear.”
The evidence presented to the court indicated that Bear’s OnlyFans account subscription went from $7.35 per month to $50 per month on the same day that the footage was made public, and that it later decreased to $20 per month.
The court was informed that Bear was taken into custody in January 2021 at Heathrow Airport, when he was returning from Dubai.

Bear said in his interview with the police that the accused victim was the one who was exposing the video to their acquaintances.
When questioned whether he had showed the tape to anybody else, he responded with “no comment.” Regarding the act of uploading to OnlyFans, there will be “no remark.” Ms. Carey stated that there would be “no comment” regarding the change in subscriptions, and she went on to say that further comments made by Bear stated that “she has ruined, like f***ed my mental health.”
Ms. Carey said before the judge that Bear will have assistance from a third party in managing his OnlyFans account.
She asked, “If Mr. Bear wasn’t behind this footage, and if it wasn’t either of those two, what are you left with?” She then went on to say that “what are you left with?” Someone who has not yet been identified broke into his OnlyFans account, uploaded the content to his subscribers’ accounts, and shared it. Everything was done for Mr. Bear’s advantage.”
The situation with Bear, according to Ms. Carey, “flies in the face of common sense.”
Ms. Carey said, in a nutshell, that Bear had “deliberately flouted” the alleged victim’s request not to upload the footage in order to make money, and that this was a summary of her argument. “It wasn’t an accidental upload, and it hadn’t been set up or leaked,” she continued to clarify.
