Lockdown, Shooting reported near Jackson Reed ‘Wilson’ High School in Washington DC today.

THIS JUST IN: Shooting outside Jackson–Reed (formerly Woodrow Wilson) high-school confirmed to be over a dispute over determining who the Baby Daddy is. Principle Sah Brown spoke out: “Its always on some petty ass shit. Boys get shot like this and nobody learns a lesson.” An update on the Jackson–Reed situation. I’ve been told by students Police are in the building but have no reason to believe that the shooter is inside A name is floating around of someone who could have been injured. I have independently verified that the student was uninvolved.

Police responded to the 3900 block of Chesapeake St NW for the sounds of gunshots at 2:44pm. Suspects in 2 vehicles exchanged gunfire. There is no active threat at this time. Ongoing investigating. Jackson Reed HS was placed on lockdown for precautionary measures. #MPD
