Since joining the short-video platform in September 2019, Monk has amassed nearly 19 million TikTok followers and has grown in popularity with lip-syncing and dance videos. She also has a growing following on Instagram (2.1 million followers) and YouTube, and her channel has over 1.1 million subscribers. As she is an expert in short-form TikToks, her most popular videos are presented on the platform in the YouTube short format. Additionally, Monk sells apparel such as hoodies and masks on its dedicated e-commerce site shopbrookemonk.com.
According to the biography provided by WME, Monk “aims to provide world-relevant comedy skits, family-friendly content, and an openness to difficult topics that young girls don’t always want to talk about openly”.
She’s also open about her Christian faith: Her TikTok bio includes “Jesus forever” (and “I’m not funny”), and her Instagram bio references “1 Corinthians 13:1- 7”, which is described as containing the text “Love is patience, love is kind. She is not jealous, she is not boastful, she is not proud.”
