New queen of Spotify! Kim Kardashian’s ‘The System’ podcast peaks at No 1 surging past Meghan Markle

Kim Kardashian’s ‘The System: The Case of Kevin Keith’ examines the case of a man in Ohio who was sentenced to death for triple murder

HIDDEN HILLS, CALIFORNIA: American reality star Kim Kardashian’s new crime podcast has knocked Meghan Markle off the top of the Spotify rankings, where it currently sits in fourth place. The 41-year-old’s latest podcast, titled ‘The System: The Case of Kevin Keith,’ explores the case of an Ohio man who was convicted of three counts of murder and sentenced to death, but whose sentence was commuted to life in prison without the possibility of parole by former Governor Ted Strickland in 2010. The broadcast is now available for listening worldwide.

The podcast focuses on Kevin’s efforts to disprove his guilt after he was convicted in 1994. Kim has stated in the past that there is no concrete or “physical” evidence linking Kevin, now incarcerated at Marion Correctional Institution in Ohio, to the crime of which he is accused.

With just two episodes since the podcast’s premiere on Monday, Oct 3, the 41-year-old has knocked longtime fan favorite ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ from its spot as the most popular podcast, thanks to her massive fan base (331 million Instagram followers). The UFC analyst has moved up to second place, relegating Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Me Daddy’ podcast to third.
